Wood-Fired Farm-to-Table Brunch in Hell's Kitchen

The Marshal hosts a relaxed, ingredient-driven weekend brunch in the heart of Hell's Kitchen every Saturday & Sunday from 11am. The food at The Marshal is generous, seasonal, and honest.

The menu is purely driven by our wood-fired oven. Chef Charlie serves all the favorites at brunch: farm-fresh eggs, wood-oven baked buttermilk biscuits, three different Eggs Benedicts, seasonal frittatas, hearty short rib hash, two egg-topped brunch pizzas, and sweet, comforting French toast. For those looking for something lighter, we have a huge variety of salads available as both appetizers and main-course salads, and everything is made from scratch at The Marshal by Chef Charlie and his team.

Our bar is focused entirely on New York, with wines, spirits, and producers from across the state, so our cocktails are connected to the food by place. If you're not familiar with New York wines and spirits, we can't wait to introduce you. If you are, we're sure to have some of your favorites on hand!

Brunch at The Marshal works equally well for a fun catch-up with friends, a pre-matinee meal, a large group outing, or a late Saturday start. For large groups, you can reach out to us directly. We can't wait to serve you!

The Marshal's commitment to sustainability, New York agriculture, and local food has been recognized with a Three-Star Certified Green Restaurant designation from the Green Restaurant Association, Slow Food NYC's Snail of Approval, and the New York Wine & Grape Foundation's Restaurant Award for our commitment to New York wine. Over the years, The Marshal has also been featured by The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, NBC, Zagat, and The Infatuation. Together, that recognition reflects what has defined The Marshal since we opened in Hell's Kitchen: cooking with regional ingredients, supporting New York farms and producers, operating a wood-fired kitchen without gas, and maintaining an all-New York wine and spirits program

Fabulous Brunch Before a Broadway Matinee

The Marshal is a very convenient choice for a Saturday or Sunday brunch before a Broadway matinee. We're tucked into Hell's Kitchen just west of the Theater District, close enough to walk to the show, but far enough from Times Square to enjoy a relaxed meal before the crowds.

Our 11am brunch gives you plenty of time to settle in over Eggs Benedict, wood-fired pizza, French toast, salads, and a cocktail before heading to the theater. Tell us your curtain time when you arrive and we guarantee we'll have you out in time for the show.

From The Marshal, most Broadway theaters are just a short walk away:

  • Gershwin Theatre — about 6 minutes
  • Circle in the Square Theatre — about 7 minutes
  • August Wilson Theatre — about 8 minutes
  • Neil Simon Theatre — about 9 minutes
  • Eugene O'Neill Theatre — about 10 minutes
  • Richard Rodgers Theatre — about 11 minutes
  • Majestic Theatre — about 11 minutes
  • St. James Theatre — about 12 minutes
  • Broadhurst Theatre — about 13 minutes
  • Lyceum Theatre — about 14 minutes
  • Ethel Barrymore Theatre — about 14 minutes

Whether you're planning a full Broadway afternoon or simply meeting friends before a performance, The Marshal offers a relaxed neighborhood alternative to eating in the middle of the Theater District.

Brunch Near the Javits Center, Intrepid Museum, Circle Line & Manhattan Cruise Terminal

If you're looking for weekend brunch near the Javits Center, Intrepid Museum, Circle Line Sightseeing Cruises, or the Manhattan Cruise Terminal, The Marshal puts you right in the middle of Manhattan's West Side. We're located at 628 Tenth Avenue between 44th and 45th Streets in Hell's Kitchen, serving brunch every Saturday and Sunday from 11am.

The Intrepid Museum is just west of us at Pier 86 on 46th Street, and Circle Line's Midtown sightseeing cruises depart nearby from Pier 83. Whether you're spending the day exploring the Intrepid, heading out on a Circle Line cruise, or walking the Hudson River waterfront, The Marshal is an easy place to begin—or end—the outing with a proper sit-down brunch.

Heading to a weekend convention or event? The Jacob K. Javits Convention Center is just south of us on Manhattan's West Side, making The Marshal a convenient brunch or lunch option for Javits visitors, exhibitors, and convention groups who want to get away from the convention-center crowds for a bit.

We're also close to the Manhattan Cruise Terminal, making The Marshal an especially easy choice for cruise passengers spending just a few hours in New York City. If your ship is calling in Manhattan for the day and you want one memorable meal ashore, The Marshal offers a genuine taste of New York: a chef-owned Hell's Kitchen neighborhood restaurant cooking with New York farms and producers, a wood-fired kitchen, and a bar devoted entirely to New York wines and spirits. It's an opportunity to experience the flavors, ingredients, and agricultural traditions of New York in one meal—just a short walk from the cruise terminal.

Whether you're visiting the Intrepid, taking a Circle Line cruise, attending an event at the Javits Center, or staying near the Manhattan Cruise Terminal, The Marshal is a convenient West Side brunch stop with the feel of a real neighborhood restaurant with a mission.

Brunch for Large Groups in Hell's Kitchen, NYC

The Marshal's intimate dining room gives group brunches a celebratory, personal feel from the moment everyone sits down. We're especially well suited to birthday brunches, baby showers, family gatherings, alumni get-togethers, corporate outings, and groups meeting before a Broadway matinee or a day on Manhattan's West Side.

For parties of 14 or more, we offer a dedicated weekend brunch menu designed to keep larger gatherings easy and enjoyable. Groups begin with our wood-fired biscuits and shared first courses, followed by individually selected entrées, and our dining room can accommodate gatherings of up to 36 guests.

Because The Marshal is an intimate restaurant, a full restaurant buyout can be a surprisingly accessible option for larger brunch groups. With the entire dining room to yourselves, a birthday, family gathering, or corporate brunch feels genuinely private and special, while remaining much more approachable than people often expect from a Manhattan restaurant buyout.

If you're planning a group brunch in Hell's Kitchen, a birthday brunch near Broadway, or a gathering near the Javits Center, Intrepid, Circle Line, or Manhattan Cruise Terminal, reach out to us directly and we'll help you plan a warm, relaxed brunch at The Marshal.
